From boisterous chickens to melodic songbirds, from nimble flycatchers to hulking water birds, the sounds and antics of feathered creatures intrigue and delight me.

I have painted most of my life. I began painting birds more than a decade ago. The more birds I painted, the more fascinated by them I became, which led to a certificate in field ornithology and international travel to study and paint birds.

My paintings freeze in time the ephemeral beings that punctuate the seasons and move though our days at the edges of our consciousness. I hope you enjoy them.
